Every one of our nation’s baseball games opens with the musical recitation of the United States national anthem. Jessie James Decker Competes on ‘Family Feud’

While Jessie James Decker’s performance at the Mets’ game was definitely memorable, it’s not the only fun, memorable event she has going on right now.

Last night, we saw the country singer as a contestant on the hit show “Family Feud.” While clips show that the performance was both fun and challenging, she further starred on the show on behalf of a great cause.

In a post, Decker wrote, “We are playing for @grahamsfoundation.” The foundation aims to help parents of premature, NICU babies. They help those families transition to life from the NICU to home. “We chose this foundation in particular for my Goddaughter…who was born a preemie.”

The Grahams Foundation was initially founded by Jennifer and Nicolas Hall. The couple had been expecting twins when Jennifer gave birth to them 15 weeks early. The couple lost one of the two twins, Graham, and the family created the not-for-profit as a tribute to their deceased infant.

The Country Starlet As a Mom

While Jessie James Decker builds her country music career she is also a dedicated fitness fanatic and dedicated mom. She frequently features her three adorable children on her Instagram. Further, despite her killer abs, she emphasizes the importance of love and acceptance for new moms as their bodies grow and heal.

“I always tell mothers…that [weight loss] should be the last thing on your mind,” she said during an interview with E! News. “After you have a baby, please do not think about trying to lose weight.”

She emphasized the importance instead of healing and baby’s health. She simply encourages her fans to just feed and love their babies, as it’s the most important thing following their arrival. “You have a newborn” she continued. “Your body is trying to heal. You will know when your body is ready.”

Sage thoughts from the rising country star.
