Being a singer-songwriter, author, and producer, John Carter Cash’s father, Johnny Cash, would undoubtedly be proud of him if he were still around. Reflecting on the time he spent with his father as a child, John Carter posted a picture remembering herding cattle on motorcycles and hunting kangaroos in Australia.
John Carter posted a picture late last night on Instagram looking back on a trip he took in 2018. Snapping a photo in Australia, we see him with his daughter, Grace, who was only 5-months-old at the time. At a dock together, she seems focused on the water while dear old dad takes a picture of them.
“#flashback to #2018 trip to #australia I grew up going to Australia with my parents every two years or so,” John Carter captions the post. “There was a period in my teenage years I went yearly, spending a great deal of time in the mountains west of Brisbane, herding cattle on motorcycles and hunting kangaroos.”
John Carter goes to talk about Grace and how they made the trip together. Saying Australia is special to him, it appears he wants to make his own memories with his daughter there.
“My daughter Grace was only five months old when we made this trip a few years ago. I hold Australia dear to my heart and I miss my friends there.”
John Carter Cash and his Wife Welcome James Kristoffer Cash to the Family
Though John Carter may be remembering a trip with his daughter this week, his whole family welcomed a new member earlier this year. A few months ago, John Carter Cash and his wife, Ana Cristina, brought a son into the world.
Taste of Country reported on July 16, James Kristoffer Cash was born. Weighing in at 6 pounds, 13 ounces, little James came into the world with a healthy birth. Both John and Ana posted on Instagram about their little bundle of joy, along with a sign next to them with his name and birth details.
“#jameskristoffercash born July 16, 2021 at 9:13am,” the doting dad wrote. “Mother @anacristinacash is doing well. #jamescash is a #hungryfella !! Ana Cristina and I are honored to share the announcement of his birth with the world!”
Ana wrote something similar and thanked everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during their pregnancy and spending time with the newborn. “My husband @johncartercash and I are proud and delighted to announce the birth of our son James Kristoffer Cash,” she stated. “Thank you for your support and for respecting our wishes for privacy during this special time as we bond with baby boy.”
Overall, the happy couple now has two children in their lives.
