Jon Pardi shows off the love of his life. No, not the cake pops, but his wife, Summer.

He captioned the Instagram post by saying, “When the love is real” as they feed each other cake pops.

The newlyweds tied the knot on Nov. 21 at Saddle Woods Farm in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.

A Pandemic Can’t Stop the Pardi’s Love

Following months of postponing the wedding due to COVID-19, the couple was finally able to wed.

One thing the pandemic wasn’t able to stop is the love the two feel for each other. However, it definitely impacted their special day.

“Originally we were getting married in Montana in May, which was going to be unreal,” Duncan told People. “We had an entire lodge rented out for three days for a wedding weekend extravaganza with events daily, a spa, chefs … But then COVID hit, and that all went away. With the sudden postponement — and Jon still having a full tour schedule — we were very limited with available dates.”

Summer Shells Out All of the Wedding Details

As the couple had to keep postponing their wedding day, Summer did an excellent job of documenting all of the pre-wedding plans, including her dress, food, bridesmaids’ dresses, the venue, and many more details. She kept family and friends well-informed during what must’ve felt like forever to wait to exchange vows.

The two were introduced by Jon’s mom. Summer went to one of his concerts in Denver in 2017. She later attended a show in Nashville at the Ryman Auditorium where Pardi was performing. Following the show, the couple experienced their first real date.

Finally, the question was asked while on one knee as the country music star decided to propose to his girlfriend of two years at the place they experienced their first date, the Ryman Auditorium. While on stage, he asked Summer to marry him, and as she said yes, the crowd erupted in applause.

Although the past year has been hard and put off the couple’s wedding, the two pulled through it together. They are now officially Mr. and Mrs. Pardi.

“When the Love is Real…”

Sharing cake pops with the one you love is exactly how it is “when the love is real.”
