Country music singer Kelsea Ballerini is going full Shania Twain in her latest Instagram post. The “Dibs” singer took to social media earlier this week to drop a new photo rocking cow print boots while giving a shout-out to the Canadian country icon.
In the caption, Ballerini made reference to Twain’s hit song, “Whose Bed Have Your Boots Been Under.”
Kelsea Ballerini has been fairly active on social media this year, including a string of tweets on election night. The tweets largely revolved around drinking as she quoted her song “hole in a bottle.” That song was the eighth off of her album Kelsea that came out earlier this year.
On Halloween, she posted a picture to Instagram of her ‘Karen’ costume that racked up over 173 thousand likes. Her costume included a shirt that read “I need to speak to the manager,” a pair of large sunglasses, and a wig. The photo was accompanied by a hilarious video in which Ballerini, acting as a ‘Karen,’ played several different scenarios typical of a ‘Karen.’
Kelsea Ballerini Music Career
Ballerini came onto the scene in 2014 with her breakout single “Love Me Like You Mean It.” The song propelled her to country music stardom. She followed the song up with hits such as “Dibs” and “Peter Pan.”
Several years later in 2018, her career skyrocketed after her collaboration with The Chainsmokers. They worked together on “This Feeling,” the first song on their album Sick Boy.
This year, Kelsea Ballerini has released two projects. In March, she released a full album titled kelsea. In September, she dropped the second edition of the album titled ballerini, which featured all of the same songs but in different takes. The two twin projects highlighted her talent as an artist.
