Rising country music star Kelsea Ballerini has been on fire as of late, putting out two studio albums in 2020. The singer continues on a tear as she has put out hit song after hit song.

Since bursting on the big time country scene the 27-year-old Ballerini has put out five number one singles. She made it to six number one songs recently with her newest hit single “Hole in the Bottle. The song officially took the top ranking on the Mediabase country radio singles chart earlier this week. The song was hanging around in the top 10 until finally reaching the number one overall slot. It knocks Luke Combs’ “Better Together” from the pole position.

Other Ballerini songs reaching number one include “Peter Pan,” “Dibs,” “Love me Like You Mean it,” “Miss me More” and “Legends.”

The song is from her third studio album “Kelsea” which was released in March of last year. The hit single was first released in February 2020 as the third single from the album. Later in the year, the country artist put out another studio album called “Ballerini.” The album included another rendition of the song as well as other renditions of songs from “Kelsea.”

Kelsea Ballerini Gives Fans Behind the Scenes Look

Referring to it as her first ever “drinking song,” Ballerini says the song is about getting over a breakup with the assistance of wine. The singer took to social media on Thursday to share some behind the scenes footage of the video with her fans.

“For national drink wine day, here is a little BTS of the music video for hole in the bottle,” she writes in the caption. “Amongst all of the props, the wine was real.”

The rising singer and songwriter is quite popular on social media as one might expect. She has more than 2.3 million followers on Instagram alone. Much as the song did, her Instagram post took in a lot of attention with nearly 40,000 views as of Friday morning. Fans of the East Tennessee native used social media to congratulate her on the song’s success.
