What is the best time of year to take down your Christmas decorations, according to Kelsea Ballerini?

“You shouldn’t,” says the country music star. “I’m from Tennessee. We keep our Christmas lights all year.”

Ballerini answers this and other very important Christmas-related questions during a promo video for the 2017 CMA Country Christmas TV special.

Kelsea Ballerini explains why you should never take down your Christmas decorations.

Kelsea Ballerini Is All For A Christmas Onesie

During the same video, Ballerini adamantly asserts that a Christmas onesie is far more festive than an ugly sweater. In fact, Christmas onesies are an important part of the Ballerini family’s holiday traditions.

Every Christmas eve, she and members of her family don a festive onesie and pose for a photo. Ballerini says that the only rule for the family tradition is that once you put the onesie on, you can’t take it off – even if you’re leaving the house. “Every Christmas Eve, my mom gets us obnoxious, embarrassing pajamas, and then we all have to stay in it, even if we leave the house,” Ballerini says. “So we’ll go grocery shopping in them, go to church services in them, in our little onesie Christmas pajamas.”

Will Ballerini Record A Christmas Album?

Will we get to listen to a Kelsea Ballerini Christmas album anytime soon, since she’s such a huge fan of the holidays? During an interview, Ballerini says that she would love to record a Christmas album someday but that she is waiting for the right time.

“I would love to do a Christmas album one day. It’s been on my goal list for a while,” says Ballerini. “I just want to make sure I do it at the right time and I would love to write some Christmas songs…So down the road, I would love to when I have time. But I have a mad love for Christmas music, for sure.”
