Prior to rocking the Park Theater stage in Los Vegas country superstar Kelsea Ballerini shared some amazing snapshots of her tour’s first show’s rehearsal.
“Feeling over-the-top joy to kick this tour off tonight,” Kelsea Ballerini captions the post. She further explains that she’s praying for mindfulness and safety during the performance.”
Kelsea Ballerini further writes, “Ready for approximately 10461947 sing alongs. gonna go roll around in glitter and see y’all on stage, Vegas.”
Kelsea Ballerini is currently touring alongside the Jonas Brothers. She will be performing at the Park Theater again on Saturday (August 21st) before heading to the North Island Credit Union Amphitheater in Chula Vista, California.
Other stops include Ford Idaho Center Amphitheatre in Nampa, Idaho, Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver, Colorado, And DTE Energy Music Theatre in Clarkson, Michigan.
Kelsea Ballerini Opens Up About Her Confidence & How She Remains Authentic
During a recent interview with People, Kelsea Ballerini opened up about how she deals with confidence issues.
“I’m not always confident. And I think that no one is. And if you are, congratulations. I would love to take classes from you.”
Ballerini further explained that she doesn’t think we live in a world where you can feel amazing in your skin all the time. She then talked about the criticism she experiences, especially online.
“People are tough right now, especially online,” Ballerini also shared. “I really try to be authentic. And I’m glad that comes across as confidence to people but it’s really just kind of being vulnerable and not feeling confident all the time.”
Ballerini does admit that she thinks when you feel your feelings and when you own how you feel that’s how you move forward in life. “Move on and become better and strong, and bolder, and all those things.”
Kelsea Ballerini Stated She Won’t Ever Abandon Her Country Roots
In a 2016 interview with Teen Vogue, Kelsea Ballerini stated she has no plans to ever abandon her country roots. “I want to stay where I am. I’m stoked to be a country artist. I have a huge appreciation for music in general, but my roots are country.”
Kelsea Ballerini also discussed the different types of music that she really likes to listen to.
“I love that on country radio, you can hear a George Strait song, and then next is Sam Hunt. I love that there’s such a variety. It’ll help us grow as a genre.”
In regards to writing her own music, Kelsea Ballerini goes on to add that creating her own material is super important to her. “Even though there are incredible songs floating around Nashville, it’s important for me to have my voice heard.”
