Country music star Kip Moore shares a patriotic message ahead of the Fourth of July celebrations this weekend.

On July 4, 1776, 13 delegates from the colonies signed the Declaration of Independence, officially claiming the birth of the United States of America. Ever since, the Fourth of July has centered around the most American things you can think of; red, white, and blue, bald eagles, hot dogs, apple pie, and fireworks. God Bless America, baby!

Kip Moore is one country artist that isn’t shy about showing his patriotic side. In a press release from UMG Nashville, Moore expresses his pride for the USA and the brave men and women that have protected it ever since.

“I’m a very, very patriotic person, proud of the country that I live in,” explains Moore. “I’m very proud of what those guys do for us each and every day, and I don’t take it for granted one bit. My grandparents were in the military, fought wars, and I’ve seen the battle that they go through, just the horror of remembering things. When I start to think that I’m halfway through, I realize how I’m not one bit when I talk to soldiers when I’m out and realize the things that they go through. I can’t imagine facing what those guys face every day.”

In fact, Kip Moore is basically the embodiment of the American dream. I mean, “Somethin’ ‘Bout a Truck,” “Dirt Road,” “Red White Blue Jean America,” come on. It doesn’t get more USA than that!

Kip Moore How High Tour

This fall, Kip Moore will hit the road with his How High Tour. It will mark the 41-year-olds first comeback since the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. The tour will kick off on October 14 in Chicago, Illinois, and will go across the United States before concluding in San Diego, California, on December 18.

“The live show has been a massive part of everything we’ve built up until this point,” Moore said in a press release. “We brought out a full record this past year, and so it’s been a huge priority to get this tour scheduled so we can get out there and play those songs with the people who supported ‘Wild World.'”

During the pandemic, Kip Moore tried to hold his fans’ attention with new music. And with summer here and fall right around the corner, the wait is almost over!

“So, I’m just bringing people’s attention back because I know we’re going to get out and do some shows this summer and fall,” said Moore. “And just try to hold you over until something’s coming.”

Crank that country music, break out the popsicles, and fire up the grill. This Fourth of July is going to be a big one. Happy 245 birthday! Uncle Sam and Kip Moore are proud!
