Kix Brooks Hosting ‘A Salute to Our Military Veterans’ Radio Special

Brooks & Dunn‘s Kix Brooks is hosting the veterans radio special, with special guests from Florida Georgia Line to Kane Brown.

For many years now, Kix Brooks has been an advocate for U.S. veterans. He’s hosted the show before, and this year on November 11th, “A Salute” is back.

Brooks’, however, won’t be alone. A Salute to Our Military Veterans is a country extravaganza. Made to “help honor the men and women who serve our country”, the country legend is hosting Westwood One’s annual radio special once more.

As he has done in the past, Brooks will bring some famous friends onto the show. Country fans can expect everyone from Florida Georgia Line to Brantley Gilbert.

In addition, Kix himself will also be playing songs of Keith Urban’s, Tim McGraw’s, and more. All in the name of celebrating those who gave all for America.

Kix Brooks to Host Veterans Radio Special

“In recognition of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Kix Brooks will help honor the men and women who have served our country by hosting Westwood One’s annual radio special, A Salute to Our Military Veterans.

Keeping with tradition, Kix has invited some of his friends to join him on this year’s show to talk about their appreciation of the military, including Florida Georgia Line, Chris Janson, Kane Brown, Dustin Lynch, Jon Pardi and Brantley Gilbert. In addition, Kix will also play songs by Keith Urban, Tim McGraw, Justin Moore, Lee Brice and more that recognize our military members.

Radio stations can air Westwood One’s two-hour A Salute to Our Military Veterans with Kix Brooks any time on Saturday, November 7, through Wednesday, November 11, also – between 6 a.m. and midnight. For more information, contact country@westwoodonecom.”

@KixBrooks official Twitter account says the star “will host @WestwoodOne’s “A Salute to Our Military Veterans” Radio Special (Nov. 7-11) with guests @FLAGALine, @janson_chris, @kanebrown, @dustinlynch, @JonPardi & @brantleygilbert.”

It’s been a hell of a year for Brooks & Dunn, as well. The two absolutely rocked this year’s CMT Awards with a killer opening. Alongside Luke Combs, the duo took the stage on October 21. Together, they performed “1, 2 Many”, and audiences went wild.

Ronnie Dunn and Kix Brooks brought a can of beer to Combs, which he now famously shotgunned.
