Lady A might want to stick to what they do best: country music. Earlier today, CMT posted an Instagram video showing the trio attempting to decorate a gingerbread house.
Things didn’t work out as planned when the leading men, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, broke out into a gingerbread fight. Hilarity ensued.
Besides Lady A, performers will include Kelsea Ballerini, Gabby Barrett, Dan + Shay, Florida Georgia Line, Little Big Town, Tim McGraw, and Darius Rucker.
As if it couldn’t get any better, Thomas Rhett is also performing and co-hosting with his wife, Lauren Akins.
Back in September, the CMA filmed the 11th annual Christmas special before the CMA Awards. Unfortunately, Lady A and Florida Georgia line couldn’t attend the awards due to coronavirus’s precautions. Lucky for us, however, they were able to take part in the Christmas special.
Lady A Joins Other Artists in Remembering to be Thankful this Holiday Season
Lady A and many other country artists revealed they have so much to be grateful for this holiday season.
On Thanksgiving, the group shared a heartfelt message to their fans.
“Happy Thanksgiving! It’s been a different kind of year to say the least, but it’s shown us that we truly have so much to be thankful for and not take a single day for granted. Wishing you and your families all the best the rest of this year.”
Lady A has many reasons to celebrate the holiday this year. Earlier in the week, the band nabbed their 11th grammy nomination. The trio is up for “Best Country Duo/Group Performance” for their song “Oceans.”
Writing on social media, the group shared their gratitude for the honor.
“Wow! We are absolutely blown away hearing the news on “Ocean” being nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. When we went in to cut this song, we knew it was incredibly powerful and it only felt right that Hillary took the lead which took the song to a whole new level.”
