Thankful for Support
Rimes posted a new heartwarming photo to Instagram, looking content and jubilant, thanking everyone for their support and positive remarks on her previous brave Instagram post.
“Thank you all for your kindness and LovE since revealing such a vulnerable piece of me. I’m still processing the release of such a heavy weight, and taking in all of your beautiful messages,” says LeAnn Rimes in her most recent Instagram post.
“For those who are challenged by psoriasis that have shared your stories with me, I see you, and feel you deeply. For those who aren’t challenged by psoriasis, but are with other autoimmune disease, or if you are simply afraid of being seen, I deeply feel and see you too.
“I hope that by stripping myself bare you have found your permission slip to do the same. You are worthy of freedom! YOU ARE WORTHY OF FREEDOM! I LovE you 💕”
Baring it All
Rimes showed her imperfections, while also demonstrating pride in the beauty of said imperfections. LeAnn shows there is no such thing as perfect, as well as showing support for all others who suffer from psoriasis, autoimmune diseases or those who feel uncomfortable to show their true selves.
In her previous Instagram post LeAnn Rimes stated:

It’s been, and still is, a journey of allowing them out, and welcoming and reintegrating those fragments back into wholeness.
“Music has been my gift, and why I’m here. But I want to give a voice to these other pieces of me. And I want to give a voice to what so many other people are going through. This is finally my time to be unabashedly honest about what psoriasis is and what it looks like.”
Influencing Others Through Honesty
As Rimes takes to social media to explain the emotions and fears one goes through while battling psoriasis, she gives hope, encouragement and positivity to many individuals suffering from similar autoimmune diseases. Through her honesty, others find a sense of normalcy knowing a country music star is also going through the same thing.
