Lee Ann Womack Leaves Touching Message for Chris Daughtry’s Wife Following Daughter’s Death

Following the unfortunate news about Chris Daughtry’s daughter Hannah, country superstar Lee Ann Womack shares a touching message for the American Idol alum’s wife, Deanna. 

Over the weekend, Chris Daughtry’s wife wrote in an Instagram post, “My first born. I love you endlessly Hannah. Our family would like to thank you all for the outpouring of love as we grieve the loss of our daughter Hannah. We are awaiting the autopsy results to determine how Hannah sustained the injuries that caused her death. Our hearts are broken.”

In the comment section, Lee Ann Womack wrote, “Beautiful Hannah and Deanna…I love you both.”

As previously reported, Chris Daughtry announced he was postponing the foreseeable future of his concert tour after his family learned of the sudden death of his daughter, Hannah. She was 25-year-old when she was found dead in her home by the Nashville Police Department. 

“Due to the unexpected death of Chris and Deanna Daughtry’s daughter, Hannah, all currently scheduled shows for the coming week for Daughtry have been postponed. The Daughtry family thanks you for your understanding and respectfully asks for privacy during this very difficult time. Further details will be made available at a later date. The investigation into this tragic death is still ongoing.”

The death of Chris Daughtry’s daughter has reportedly been ruled as a homicide. It was also confirmed that Hannah’s boyfriend, Bobby Jolly, was arrested. Though there hasn’t been an official announcement as to what the arrest was for. However, there is speculation that Jolly may have been involved in Hannah’s death. 

Chris Daughtry Publicly Speaks Out About Daughter’s Passing

Also over the weekend, Chris Daughtry took to his Instagram to give an official statement about Hannah’s passing. “I am still processing the last 24 hours. I am absolutely devastated and heartbroken.”

Chris Daughtry then shared that he recently lost his mother to cancer, but was blessed with the chance to say goodbye to her. He was also able to process the death privately without the public even knowing. “We never got to say goodbye to our precious Hannah. And it’s another huge hit to our family.”

Chris Daughtry went on to thank fans for all their kind words and condolences. “I am taking time [to] be present with my family as we attempt to heal from this devastating loss,” the American Idol alum wrote.

He went on to add, “Hannah, I love you. I miss you. I wish I could hold you. This hurts so deeply.”

Chris Daughtry and his wife DeAnna have been married since November 2000. They have four children together, which are Hannah, Griffin, Adalynn, and Noah.
