Loretta Lynn Pens Sweet Message to Glam Team for Keeping ‘Every Hair in Place’ in Stunning Photo

by Clayton Edwards

Loretta Lynn is country music royalty. There’s no disputing that. She has been in the business for over fifty years. During that time, she has written and recorded some of the biggest hits in country music history. At the same time, she speaks her mind. The Coal Miner’s Daughter has never pulled punches. Not much has changed over the years, either. She’s still at it.

Even Dolly Parton defers to Loretta Lynn. In an interview, Dolly said that she takes offense to being called the Queen of Country Music because that title belongs to someone like Loretta or Kitty Wells. So, it would be easy for Lynn to let her fame go to her head. However, she is still humble after all these years. She was raised with very little which taught her about gratitude from an early age.

Earlier today, Loretta Lynn posted a stunning photo of her on a couch getting ready for an interview. In the caption of the post, she gives a shout-out to her crew who works hard behind the scenes to “make it all happen.”

In the tweet, Loretta Lynn says, “So many people work so hard behind the scenes to make it all happen. They even try to keep every hair in place for interviews! Gotta keep working.” The hashtags she uses in the post shed a little light on her mindset as well. She’ll “never stop,” and “never retire,” because “work is too fun.” The whole post oozes gratitude and positive energy. Loretta’s outlook is so refreshing.

Loretta Lynn’s Royal Status

Country music artists, as well as fans, look up to Loretta Lynn. She has worked hard to get where she is today. That continuing work ethic is nothing short of inspirational. Her desire to keep going and never retire is almost as impressive as the trail she has blazed for the past five decades.

Loretta Lynn released her first chart-topping single in 1967. “Don’t Come Home A-Drinkin’ (With Lovin’ On Your Mind)” was inspired by her husband’s drinking habits. As she did with many of her songs, she took hardship in her life and turned it into musical gold. In fact, several of her biggest hits came about this way. For instance, her childhood wasn’t an easy one. However, she turned the story of her formative years into her signature song, “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

Since then, Loretta Lynn has taken home a host of awards. She was the first woman to win the CMA Entertainer of the Year Award. She has several Grammy Awards under her belt as well, including the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. Lynn is also a member of the Country Music Hall of fame and a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.

Yet, she remains humble, grateful, and hardworking to this day. We could all learn a thing or two from the Coal Miner’s Daughter.
