Luke Bryan Announces Return of 12th ‘Farm Tour’ This Fall

by Jim Casey

Luke Bryan announced he will bring his Farm Tour to six farms this fall. The tour will make stops at farms in Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Michigan from Sept. 9 to Sept. 18. The son of a Georgia peanut farmer, Luke has always had a special place in his heart for the agricultural community.

For 11 consecutive years between 2009 and 2019, Luke Bryan brought his Farm Tour to rural destinations across the country. While the COVID-19 pandemic put a kibosh on his 2020 Farm Tour, Luke will return this fall for his 12th Farm Tour. Five of the six farms will be new destinations.

“I think I am more excited about this year’s Farm Tour than any other year,” said Luke Bryan in a press release. “Growing up in a farming family in rural Georgia, I know how hard farming can be even on a good year, and how hard those families work—from sun-up to sundown. After the challenges we have all faced in the last year with so many people losing their jobs, struggling to put food on their tables, food supply chains jeopardized, grocery stores struggling to keep food on the shelves in some areas, it is so apparent to me, and I hope everyone, why our farmers are truly the backbone of our country. They never stopped providing for all of us. Ever. It’s time to thank our farmers, once again. It’s going to mean even more to me this year.”

The tour has drawn more than 100,000 fans each year, while also raising money for a great cause. Since the tour’s inception, Luke Bryan has awarded more than 60 college scholarships to local students from farming families within the communities the tour has played.

Tickets for Farm Tour will go on sale on June 11 at 10 a.m. local time. Pre-sale tickets for Luke’s fan club are available June 8.
