Luke Bryan Crashes His Bar in Nashville with Katy Perry and Lionel Richie After ‘American Idol’ Auditions

Nashville, Tennessee is one of the best cities in America. You never know who you might see out on the town, including Luke Bryan and company. That’s right, Bryan brought out his fellow American Idol judges in Music City for a special night.

Right now, American Idol is after the best singers in the country. That means going far and wide to get the best talent. Of course, Nashville is going to be a stop on the tour. What better place to find music talent than in and around Broadway? While the judges found time away from auditions, they went out on the town.

Lucky for them, Nashville is home to Luke Bryan’s own 32 Bridge bar right downtown. Check out this video originally captured by TMZ and see all the fun that went down. As Bryan belts out his classic Country Girl while Ritchie and Perry dance along and keep the crowd excited. Just a cool moment.

There are so many stars in and around Nashville with their own bars, favorite honky-tonks, and other spots. So, when you spend a night out on the town you could see just about anyone and everyone. Even Mick Jagger finds a way to sneak around Music City unnoticed. Special surprise performances are the regular it seems. Although not everyone is lucky enough to catch a show like this.

Luke Bryan and the American Idol crew are going to be looking for talent all over the country. This year, they are doing an “audition from anywhere” type show. So that means contestants can submit auditions online and from wherever they feel like recording. Next time you find yourself in the city, keep your eyes open. You never know who might walk up on stage.

Luke Bryan is Always Busy Doing Something

Over the last few months, the singer-songwriter has been busy with all sorts of projects. Of course, he has Idol responsibilities, but there is so much more. He has to tour, record, write songs, think of future dates, and all that comes with being a music star. Luke Bryan even took some time to hose the 55th annual CMA Awards.

While Bryan did a solid job hosting, not all of his jokes went over well with everyone in the crowd. Carrie Underwood gave the country star a big eye roll when he made reference to the Aaron Rodgers controversy. However, the show was a good one with great performances. Chris Stapleton dominated with four awards on the night and two big acts on stage.

As Luke Bryan gets ready for this season of Idol there are going to be so many great auditions. That includes those virtual auditions. There was some success last year with those and they are hoping to find that success again.
