If you follow Luke Bryan outside of country music, then you’ll know he’s truly a genuine and friendly guy. His songs tout the importance of human compassion, community, and generosity, a common theme across country music. However, it wasn’t until the “Up” singer went viral following his latest act that we can confirm the truthfulness of his lyrics.
Earlier Monday, a Tennessee woman rounded a curve in one of the state’s small towns when she blew out her tire. The woman, Courtney Potts, had been traveling with her kids when the flat occurred.
Much like a superhero, Luke Bryan just so happened to be traveling that same road when he encountered Potts and her stranded vehicle. Being the gentleman we all know he is, Bryan stopped his own car and got out to help Potts change the tire.
The Tennessee woman shared a video of the once-in-a-lifetime encounter on Instagram, which captured the star knelt on the pavement cranking the nuts off the flat tire.
Of the encounter, Potts wrote across the video, “My life is made!” and while flat tires aren’t ideal, to meet Luke Bryan in such a normal situation truly is one in a million. She then thanked the country star in her caption, writing the save “really made our day so much better.”
Followers to the post shared their love for Luke Bryan and expressed their excitement for Potts as well.
“Wow!! How cool is that!!” one commenter wrote, while another expressed, “This is why [Luke Bryan] is a legend even with all that fame and money and he still is a great person[,] absolutely love it man🔥🔥🔥.”
