Luke Bryan Looks to Make Billboard Chart History With Release of New Single ‘Up’

Luke Bryan is looking to make history with the upcoming release of his newest single titled Up. If his song peaks at number one on Billboard Country airplay charts, he’ll be the first music artist to have two albums with six chart-topping titles.

Luke Bryan has been celebrating a lot of success with his Born Here Live Here Die Here album. He’s released five singles from the record. The songs include Waves, Down To One, One Margarita, Knockin’ Boots, and What She Wants Tonight —and they’ve all been number one hits. On October 11th he’ll drop his next radio single. And if that’s as great as his other work, it’ll be a chart-topper too.

And according to the five-time entertainer of the year himself, UP is destined to be a hit.

Up is a song that just checks all the boxes for a country song to me,” Luke said in a press release. “It talks about what I love and what’s dear to me. About my home and my faith. Add to that the fact that the songwriters used just a simple word as ‘up,’ to create so many images is pretty special.”

Luke’s last album that produced six number ones was his 2015 album called Kill The Lights. That record’s singles Kick The Dust Up, Strip It Down, Home Alone Tonight, Huntin’ Fishin’ & Lovin Everyday, Move, and Fast all went straight to the top of Billboard Country Airplay. And when they did, he made went down in the record books. He officially had the most successful country album in Billboard Airplay history.

And Luke Bryan held his record until country music’s other Luke, Luke Combs, released his second studio album in 2019. His record titled What You See Is What You Get has also produced six number ones. And he’s working on a seventh. His most recent drop, Cold As You, is sitting at number 7 and it’s trending to number one.

So Combs and Bryan are both crossing their fingers and hoping for a record-breaking year.

Luke Bryan Thanks Everyone Who Made His 2021 Farm Tour Possible

Luke Bryan wrapped up his farm tour last month. And he made us realize why we love him so much. Aside from being a damn good musician, he’s also a humanitarian.

The Drunk On You singer has been raising money for midwestern farmers since 2009. Each year he carves a week out of his busy schedule and heads out to perform on farms around the country. His concerts raise money for hungry families and celebrate the farmers who bring food to our tables.

In 2015, he partnered with Bayer to expand his efforts.

“I know the important role farmers play in our everyday lives and understand the hard work it takes for them to help feed America and the world,” Bryan said in a press release from Bayer. . “That’s why I’m excited to have this partnership with my friends at Bayer and be able to thank the American farmers for all the hard work they do.”
