On Thursday evening, country star Luke Bryan posted on Instagram where he reminisced on how much he misses touring and playing in front of his thousands of fans.
The simple message echoed what all musical artists are feeling since concerts have been a rarity since the COVID-19 outbreak earlier this year in March. Bryan shared a photo on his official account of him performing a live show from the past. His short caption read:
“Really miss being out there playing music for y’all #TBT.”
In April, Bryan postponed his seventh studio album along with its nationwide tour. The album, “Born Here, Live Here, Die Here,” was delayed, but eventually released in August. However, Bryan announced in June that the tour would be pushed back to next year.
“With the health and safety of my fans, team and venue staff being a top priority we feel it is best to postpone my Proud To Be Right Here Tour,” he posted to his Instagram account. Additionally, the post shared the new tour schedule for 2021.
“We are excited to announce these new 2021 dates and are thankful for all the venues and teams who have worked with us to make these dates possible,” Bryan continued in the post. “We are going to bring you an incredible show in 2021 and I can’t wait to see you there.”
Luke Bryan Has Used Some of His Free Time to Hunt
The country singer has had some extra time on his hands this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Like many, he has ventured into the outdoors and spent time hunting. Recently, Bryan ended September with a successful hunt of an enormous bull elk.
Buck Commander’s Instagram account shared a photo of the famous musician with the massive elk.
Bryan is an avid hunter, and proud of it. He spoke with Western Shooting Journal in an interview where he shared his love of the outdoors and hunting.
“Hunting, fishing and the outdoors make up who I am as an artist and a person,” he said in the interview. “It would be silly to try to hide or keep that from the public. I’m proud of my love for the outdoors and my true fans will appreciate that about me.”
In addition to elk hunting, Luke Bryan also regularly hunts deer, quail, and doves. The country artist works with Hunters for the Hungry and donates many of the deer he hunts to the program. Bryan even hunts on the property of his Red Bird Farm just south of Nashville, TN.
