Luke Bryan Shows Off Massive Catch While Fishing With Bassmaster Kevin Van Dam

“8 pounds 10 ounces. Almost 10. Dang. Thanks @Kevin_VanDam,” he tweeted along with a photo of the massive fish.

@lukebryan That a boy! Looks like you put that crank bait to work!,” @kevinvandamfishing wrote.

Fans were also impressed by the singers haul.

Luke Bryan: Hunting, Fishing, and Loving Everyday

Luke Bryan loves the outdoors. He’s even got a song to prove it. He recently even opened a curated storefront on Amazon where he sells his favorite camping, fishing, and hiking gear, Rolling Stone said.

But besides talking about his love of hunting and fishing, it’s most important to him to pass that love on to his boys. He recently discussed why he wants to teach his sons those skills.

“When I look back on my experiences as a kid with my dad, at the top of those lists are always moments that I spent in the outdoors with him,” he explained to Sounds Like Nashville. “When you’re in a fishing boat with your child for four or five hours, you just can’t replicate that time in any other, I mean, it’s just perfectly well-spent time, in my opinion.”

He takes them so often, he worries they may get bored. But so far, he said, they love being on the hunt or on the water.

“I’ve brainwashed them quite well!” he joked.

He often to posts photos of his fishing trips with his sons for his 5.6 million Instagram followers.
