Luke Combs performed a stunning rendition of Brooks & Dunn classic, “Brand New Man.” Combs has performed the song at countless tours and concerts and is one of his personal favorites.
The Performance From Luke Combs
Along with the cover, the country crooner performed a full-fledged virtual concert for fans on Saturday (October 24). He just debuted his new deluxe album, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get. The album features the eighteen original songs plus five new tracks. One of the tracks features a collaboration with Amanda Shires. Combs performed all of the new tracks along with a cover and a couple of his hits during the show.
During the concert, fans donated to The Recording Academy’s MusiCares. The non-profit provides aid in times of crisis to music industry professionals, including during the pandemic.

Combs collaborated with Brooks & Dunn previously. The trio most recently performed at the 2020 CMT Music Awards together. The group performed “1, 2 Many” together, socially distanced. The performance itself was notable but Combs managed to shotgun a beer that Brooks gave him in two seconds flat.
“For me, it’s like a total dream come true every time I’m with these guys at all so I mean it’s really awesome. I’m thankful that they are here to do it with me and I’m gonna have fun, for sure,” Combs told media outlets ahead of the awards show. The famous duo has also sung his praises in interviews.
Previously, Combs was one of the featured artists on the duo’s latest album, REBOOT. They previously heard Combs playing the tune in a video posted to YouTube. “Somebody sent me a clip of Luke Combs doing ‘Brand New Man’ with a couple of his band guys. He was wearing Brooks & Dunn gear, that was real flattering,” Dunn told Music Row.
