While artists love to play shows, there are those that mean more than the rest. Luke Combs just had one of those important shows. In a homecoming concert at Kidd Brewer Stadium, Combs put on a show for a packed house. Just down the highway from his hometown of Huntersville, the crowd let the young country artist know how appreciated he is.
Over on his Instagram page, Combs made sure to thank fans. He shared a photo from last night, vowing to post more in the upcoming days. It shows the country artist standing in the spotlight, picking at his guitar in front of the throngs of people. It is an impressive photo.
Always one to show love to fans, he had a great caption to go along with the post.
“Last night was hard to believe. I’ll have something better to say and some more pictures in a few days but in a lot of ways I think this picture says it all somehow.” It is quite the picture.
There are all kinds of shows that musicians play. Each has its own special meaning, and sometimes it is as simple as being a fun venue or city. However, you can tell that Luke Combs genuinely appreciates the support from his home state. A packed crowd in front of thousands of fans from where you grew up? Nothing better than that.
Friends Give Luke Combs His Due
While Luke Combs was stunned by the turnout at his show, friends of the artist gave him his props. There were all kinds of well-wishes and messages in the replies to the photo. Combs has earned the respect of many in the industry in his relatively young career. It seems as though a lot of people are happy to see him succeed.
Ray Fulcher commented, “You deserve it all bud. Thanks for letting your pal be a part of it.”
Then Drew Parker replied, “Incredible night buddy! Thanks for letting me be a part of it all! Getting to ride along for this journey with you has been incredible! Proud of ya man!”
Dan + Shay simply put, “unreal. congrats brother.”
Overall, the country music world seems to be in agreement, the show was awesome, and Luke Combs deserves all the flowers. Throughout the replies to the post were tons of comments from friends, peers, fans, and more cheering on the success of Combs. This show will likely open the door for future shows like this. There’s no doubt that there will be more “homecoming” shows for him in the future. That region of North Carolina is so rich in history and music. Even if he wasn’t from there it would be a great place to play.
Congrats to Combs on all the success.
