On Friday afternoon, country star Luke Combs thanked his fans up north after his Canadian tour sold out in less than a week.
Combs and his band will be heading to the Great White North for seven shows next year in March 2022. He’ll be joined by special guests Riley Green and Chayce Beckham on the Eastern Canada tour.
Anticipation for the tour has obviously peaked in the last week since tickets went on sale. In fact, it took only one week for the seven-show Canadian leg of the Luke Combs tour to sell out. He made sure to say thank you to everyone who bought tickets on Twitter earlier today as well.
The musician from Asheville, North Carolina is currently on tour playing shows across the U.S. His next concert is Sept. 28 in Eugene, Oregon at Matthew Knight Arena. Luke Combs will stay on the West Coast through most of October before making stops in Texas.
He’ll then head east for three shows in Florida before bouncing around the Midwest and East Coast. Additionally, Combs will play two nights in New York City’s legendary Madison Square Garden arena in late November. The country star will wrap up his current American tour in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 16. After a three-month break, a short European leg of the tour will begin as part of the C2C Festival. Combs will play in Scotland, Ireland, and England from March 11-13.
Next, Combs and his band will finish out March 2022 in Canada as mentioned. They’ll perform in Toronto, Ottawa, Quebec City, Montreal, and London. Finally, Luke Combs last scheduled show of his ongoing tour will occur on May 1 in Indio, California. His band will take part in the Stagecoach Festival as the final stop of his current tour.
Luke Combs Hilariously Makes Interest Known For Carolina Panthers Kicker Position
As most Luke Combs fans know, the country singer was born and raised in North Carolina. Therefore he comes by his North Carolina Tar Heels and Carolina Panthers fandom honestly.
Like all Panthers fans know, Carolina has had their fair share of issues at the kicker position this season. It’s still early in the season, but they released their previous kicker Joey Slye in the offseason. Ever since, they’ve had bad luck with his replacements so far this year. That said, the team is off to a hot start with an undefeated 3-0 record. Regardless, on Thursday, Combs amusingly threw his hat in the ring as a possible solution for the Panthers kicking position.
Combs posted a short clip of himself from a recent concert to his Twitter account. In the video, he’s singing on stage as he abruptly kicks his Solo cup. His drink goes flying into the audience as the crowd cheers him on.
The musician decided to use the clip as his resume for the Carolina Panthers kicking job. He jokingly added the caption, “Hey @Panthers, if y’all ever need a punter or kicker, y’all know where to find me.” Is there a career change coming for Luke Combs? It’s not likely. But he’s not a bad fan to have on speed dial for a pre-game national anthem performance at a minimum.
