Miranda Lambert Continues the Outpouring of Love for Dolly Parton’s Birthday

by Chris Haney

On Tuesday night, country star Miranda Lambert made sure to join the countless fans and musicians who wished country legend Dolly Parton a happy birthday today.

Lambert shared her birthday wishes to Parton on Instagram where she thanked the iconic singer for her “bright light.” She said that having the opportunity to sing with Parton has been a highlight of her life. In 2018, the pair worked together on a remake of Parton’s 1967 hit “Dumb Blonde.”

In addition, Lambert said the same about their personal conversations over the years that have meant the world to her. The singer shared a heartfelt 75th birthday message to Parton and added a picture of the two female country stars. The pair are seen leaning against each other back-to-back in the image.

“Happy Birthday Dolly! Thank you for your bright light. Singing with you and having some heart to heart conversations was a highlight of my life,” Lambert said to Parton on Instagram.

Dolly Parton Receives Birthday Wishes From Kelsea Ballerini

Add Kelsea Ballerini to the long list of country stars who sent birthday wishes to Dolly Parton on Tuesday. In fact, she also shared her favorite memory of the singer as well.

For Parton’s 75th birthday, CMT spoke with Ballerini on #DollyDay. As part of the country music network’s celebration of Parton’s birthday, Ballerini recalled her favorite memory of the icon.

Ballerini revealed that her favorite moment came from interviewing Parton five years ago. She prepared multiple questions for the legend that revolved around their common roots. Each of the female country singers grew up in Eastern Tennessee. However, at the end of their discussion, Ballerini threw out one extra question that turned into her favorite moment with Parton.

“Dolly, how do you play guitar with your nails so long?” Ballerini asked Parton.

“Good. I play it real good,” Parton hilariously responded.

Additionally, Ballerini made sure to wish Dolly Parton a very happy birthday in the post.

“So Dolly, I hope you have a ‘real good’ 75th birthday. You are everything to so many people. And I’m just sending you all the love and the light in the whole world. Happy Birthday!” Ballerini concluded.
