Recently, Miranda Lambert’s returned to the stage after over 400 days of shows being on hold. To celebrate the occasion, she wowed the crowd not only with her songs but also her fashion. In the photos she dropped on Instagram, the singer rocks a modern cowgirl look.

Lambert looks amazing in the cowgirl glam look, partially because she rocks anything with fringe, and partially because she’s clearly thrilled to be back on stage.

“We’re back y’all!” The caption read, “We did our first 3 shows @billybobstexas last weekend, and we had a blast! Thanks to everyone who came out. The warm welcome back to the stage with the band after over 400 days sure felt good! Loved getting back to my old stomping grounds. See y’all next weekend for 2 more!”

How Miranda Lambert Spent Quarantine

Like many artists, Miranda Lambert definitely missed performing. She said doing virtual shows definitely wasn’t for her.

She said she loved performing live and quarantine helped her realize just how much. “I guess nothing made me realize that more than singing into a screen, which I absolutely hate, and I can’t do it. I started this career 18 years ago for that feeling [of performing live], not for [a] Zoom call,” she said.

And while she missed performing, she also said that the pandemic gave her an opportunity to get closer to her husband, who she had just married after a little over two months of dating. Quarantine measures went into place fairly soon after the two got married, so their relationship was put to the test.

“It was just us two with no distraction, at my farm outside of Nashville. And so I was really thankful for it because it made us really strong. And, you know, I think it did that for a lot of couples.” She told New York’s Country 94.7

It’s not like quarantine was particularly easy for Lambert, but she luckily had the luxury of finding the positives. “But with everything that happened last year, I think everybody was forced to sort of reconnect with themselves and with people that they really love and that are close to them.”

During quarantine, Lambert also rescued a kitten that she named Tequilla Sunrise. “It’s funny because my husband hates cats.” She said, “and he’s the one that did a U-turn because he saw the kitten in the road and I was like, ‘I’m rubbing off on you!’ He was like, ‘I knew you would kill me if I saw it and didn’t stop.’ I would have.”

Thankfully, as more and more people get the vaccine, Lambert and others can start performing again soon. This time, Lambert performs with a bigger family behind her, and a new perspective on how precious live music truly is.
