With much of the music industry shut down amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Miranda Lambert is spending time working on the farm with her husband Brendan McLoughlin. The CMA award winner took to Instagram to share photos and videos of the two of them putting in a hard day’s work loading hay bales.
The “Gunpowder & Lead” vocalist shared the post with the caption: “Make hay while the sun shines y’all!” She then added a number of hashtags including #haygirlhay, #shirtlessfarmhusband, #yourewelcome, #farmfresh, #johndeeregreen, and #hayday.
In the first photo of the post, Miranda Lambert and her husband were snapped sharing a laugh together while loading hay on the trailer. Both are wearing baseball caps while McLoughlin is seen going shirtless for the day’s activities on the farm.
One video included in the post shows McLoughlin hoisting a bale of hay onto the trailer. Another photo shows Lambert sitting on top of the hay bales while shooting a smile at the camera.
The last photo in the post is a selfie taken by Lambert that shows her with a piece of straw in her mouth atop the hay bales.
After uploading the photos and videos, thousands of Lambert’s fans took to the comments section. Many responded to seeing McLoughlin going shirtless while loading hay.
“You know he’s about to be itchy tonight 🤣🤣,” one user writes. Another chimed in writing, “That’s some rough work! good job! bet Brendan will be scrapped up from not wearing a shirt lol.”
“Get that boy some gloves…bale string is rough on the hands…hay is itchy too…shirt is probably best for him…but I surely understand why you like him shirtless,” one user commented.
Miranda Lambert Ties the Knot With Brendan McLoughlin in 2019
Lambert and McLoughlin wed in 2019. She revealed the surprising news in an Instagram post at the time writing, “In honor of Valentine’s Day I wanted to share some news. I met the love of my life. And we got hitched! My heart is full.”
According to the country superstar, she says the girls in her group, Pistol Annies, set them up. She spoke out about their first time meeting in an interview with the New York Times last year.
“My girlfriends, the Annies, saw him and knew I might be ready to hang out with someone. They invited him to our show behind my back,” Lambert told New York Times. “They plucked him for me. My security guy Tom, he was in on it too. He said to me, ‘He’s here. And he’s pretty.'”
Within a few months, Lambert and McLoughlin tied the knot. She was previously married to country superstar and The Voice coach, Blake Shelton. However, the two called it quits in July of 2015.
