Miranda Lambert is Thankful for RV Travel During the Pandemic: ‘Everybody is Getting Out in Nature’

by Kayla Zadel

Miranda Lambert doesn’t mind getting a little dirty from time to time. This woman does want she wants. She owns a ranch, rescues animals, and even has a collection of airstreams.

Therefore, this comes as no surprise that the country star likes to go camping. We at Outsider.com think it’s safe to say she’s one of us and loves living the outside life. Lambert would rather spend her time out exploring places she’s never been with no makeup on than strapped in a fancy dress. Now don’t get us wrong. Lambert loves winning and adding to her extensive trophy case. However, this year the country singer is realizing what she’s been missing.

In a recent interview with “The Bobby Bones Show,” Lambert talks about her new song, plus tells Bones that she loves living the gypsy life and having her airstream as her traveling house. Lambert and her hot hubby, Brendan McLoughlin are even planning a road trip.

“Everybody’s getting out in nature, and I’m not the only crazy airstream freak now,” she jokingly tells Bones.

Miranda Lambert and Husband Buy New Airstream

In May of this year, Lambert and her husband rolled into the airstream dealership and then rolled out with a little something attached to the hitch on their bumper.

Meet “The Sheriff” – the married couple’s new 2020 Airstream Globetrotter trailer. Lambert writes in the caption that “I’ve been everywhere but I haven’t seen much of anything.” However, she’s ready to start seeing a lot of things. Lambert explains that she bought the trailer during quaratine so she can keep traveling, and maybe even see some sights for once.

“After spending these last few months at home ( a much needed break and time to nest❤️) I realized something. Just because I can’t travel and play shows doesn’t mean I can’t travel and make music. I have the most amazing travel companion, my husband, and we decided to add a family member,” she continues by referencing the new trailer.

Not only does Lambert want to connect with nature, but she’s also planning on doing some songwriting. Nothing like gaining some inspiration from taking in the sights around you.

Additionally, the country star says she needs to make room for the new airstream, meaning that she will be letting go of some of the vintage trailers she’s collected over the years.
