Morgan Wallen has become one of the biggest names within the country music industry. And recently, he’s endorsed ‘best friend’ and fellow music artist, Ernest, following the release of their brand new duet, “Flower Shops.” Alongside the brand new single’s release, Wallen congratulated Ernest on his Grand Ole Opry debut with a touching Instagram post. Check it out.
Images within the post show the two country artists standing side by side, acoustic guitars in hand, belting out the poetic, colorful lyrics to Ernest’s song, “Flower Shops.”
“So proud of one of my best friends [Ernest] on his Opry debut last night,” Morgan Wallen kicked off the post.
Wallen has been growing his career in country music since his first No. 1, “Whiskey Glasses,” hit Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart in 2019. Meanwhile, however, it appears the country star has been working alongside Ernest to grow his companion’s country music career as well.

Additionally, fellow country star Jake Owen took to the comments beneath Morgan Wallen’s post to share his own congratulations.
“Well said. Well dERN,” the “Best Thing Since Backroads” singer shared, putting a creative spin on Ernest’s name within the comment.
Owen’s comment was followed by other fan love, with proclamations of “much love!!” and “Legends.”
As we already head into mid-January, Outsiders are more than excited to see where both Morgan Wallen and Ernest go from here.
Morgan Wallen Scores Major Success with ‘Dangerous’ Album
Following the release of Ernest and Morgan Wallen’s duo, “Flower Shops,” we’re curious to see how the brand new song trends on charts in the coming weeks. At the same time, however, we’re just as excited to share that Wallen’s hit double album, Dangerous, became the most-streamed album in 2021 across all genres. And that’s despite the artist’s tumultuous start to the year.
Released a year ago yesterday, Dangerous debuted as the artist’s sophomore album, a double album, in fact, boasting 30 captivating tunes, with No. 1’s including “More Than My Hometown” and “7 Summers.”
In attaining this brand new milestone, Morgan Wallen has now joined the ranks of legendary country stars including Garth Brooks and Billy Ray Cyrus.
Further, Deadline‘s year-end report states Wallen’s massive sophomore album concluded 2021 as the no. 1 country album of the year.
That said, Morgan Wallen again plans to head back out on the road for his “Dangerous” tour, and upon release, tickets for various venues across the country almost immediately sold out. During his tour, Morgan Wallen will be accompanied by rising country stars HARDY and Larry Fleet, though it would definitely be a pleasant surprise to see Ernest join his friend on stage to perform “Flower Shops” on a couple of those tour dates.
