Country music rising star Morgan Wallen has singing talent in droves, but apparently lacks patience in the song release department.
The “Sand in my Boots” and “More than my Hometown” singer surprised his fans by dropping two new songs on Thursday. Wallen took to social media to say his patience ran out in regards to sharing new music with his fans.
“Ran outta patience,” he jokes in the Instagram post’s caption space. “Two more new one at 11 CST.”
For what he lacks in patience, Wallen more than makes up for with incredible vocals and sense of humor. His adoring fan base is clearly thrilled with the news as they showered his Instagram post with praise and kind words. Some fans even asked if he would be releasing even more new songs in the near future.
Wallen just put out a 30-song double album earlier this month and the fans still want more. Clearly he’s doing something right.
Morgan Wallen Off to Big Start in 2021
The two songs Wallen impatiently released are “Band Aid on a Bullet Hole” and “The Side of a Dust Cloud.” If the past is any indication of the future, Wallen can likely expect his latest releases to climb swiftly to the top of the charts.
Wallen newest album “Dangerous: The Double Album” is also doing extremely well just three weeks since its release. The album reached the top spot of country music charts in a very short time, a credit to the singer’s rising popularity. The album is spending its second consecutive week atop the Billboard 200.
Wallen seems to be carrying over the momentum he was gaining toward the end of last year. It was an eventful 2020 for the singer and songwriter. He welcomed his first child, a son named Indigo Wilder, with his former girlfriend. He was also arrested outside of a bar in downtown Nashville for public intoxication and disorderly conduct.
After taking time away from social media and to reflect on his personal life, Wallen seems primed for big year in 2021.
