Nashville ‘Big Bash’: Watch Jon Pardi, Riley Green’s New Year’s Eve Performance

by Jacklyn Krol

Jon Pardi, Riley Green, and Chris Janson kicked off 2022 with a bang!

The trio performed during CBS’ Nashville Big Bash on December 31, 2021. The performers came together on The Skydeck on Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee to give fans an unforgettable performance. The country artists performed Hank Williams Jr.’s song “All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight“. And of course, things got rowdy with three friends and world-class performers hitting the stage together.

Jon Pardi, Riley Green, and Chris Janson also performed their latest singles solo during the show. But fans couldn’t get enough of the collaboration and even asked for a recorded version of the tune!

“Now that’s what I call a party,” one fan tweeted. Another added, “@JonPardi has got a little bit of Elvis in him, goodness gracious he can sang n dance!”

Watch a clip of their collaboration, below.

Jon Pardi on His 2022

Everyone has their own resolutions for the new year. Jon Pardi has a few things that he’s looking to accomplish and enjoy in the future.

“What I’m looking forward to the most for 2022 is a brand new album,” he told his record label. “We haven’t had no time to work on it because I’ve (only) been home about two or three days for the past three months, it seems like, and I haven’t been writing. I’ve been doing nothing but touring. So, I’m gonna get some songwriting in and finish this album.”

As with most New Year’s Eve parties, the nights include some adult beverages. Jon Pardi has a hidden secret to keeping the hangovers at bay.

“My hangover cure is Bloody Marys,” he revealed. “But be careful – because once you have a couple, don’t go to beer, because if you go to beer, you’re gonna start drinking again and you’ll end up a morning drunk. OR if you want to go the non-alcoholic route, there’s nothing you can do for hangovers. [laughs] You just go deal with it.”

Jon Pardi is a busy man. He also is hosting a radio Tequila Little Time party on New Year’s Day through 101.3 WMCI. The show begins on January 1. His very own New Year’s Day special will include visits from Alan Jackson, Keith Urban, Chris Stapleton, Gary Allan, Little Big Town, and Darius Rucker.

“Tequila a Little Time” will air live on 101.3 WMCI on January 1st at 8 PM CT.
