The Nashville Big Bash on CBS is going to be short a few performers. Zac Brown Band and others have canceled their performances ahead of the big day.

New Year’s Eve is going to get a little more country. However, there will be some performers that will not take the stage as planned. The lineup for Nashville’s New Year’s Eve Big Bash will no longer feature the Chicken Fried band or Sam Hunt. Those are two big losses to the night, but the show will go one.

Zac Brown released a statement about not being able to perform.

“We are deeply disappointed to share that Zac Brown Band will no longer be performing at Nashville’s Big Bash tomorrow night on CBS,” the frontman said. “Despite taking precautions, I’ve tested positive for COVID-19. While we were very excited to join the incredible lineup of artists and millions of amazing fans tuning in to watch, our #1 priority is the safety and well-being of our fans, band, crew and venue staff. We’re looking forward to great things ahead and seeing you all on our tour next year.”

The band finished the statement with a New Year’s wish to fans.

While there are going to be some absences on the night, that shouldn’t take away from all of the other great artists that will be there tomorrow night. The Big Bash is going to have a lot of great talent.

Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and More to Perform

With things set to begin tomorrow night, Nashville is going to be buzzing with all the talent that will be there Friday night. There is generally quite a bit of talent in the city on any given night. On New Year’s Eve that gets turned up a notch.

Throughout the night there will be performances from the genre’s biggest stars. Jon Pardi, Carly Pearce, Riley Green, Blake Shelton, Miranda Lambert, and more. So, when they say it’s a Big Bash, they mean it. During the show, fans will get to see all kinds of great performances and appearances.

Among the night’s performers and talents, is Dierks Bentley. He is going to bring the vibes and energy during the night.

Dierks Bentley Talks Nashville ‘Big Bash’

When it comes to Dierks Bentley’s plans for the night, the Big Bash is going to be filled with great music, bits, and commentary. This is really the first time that Nashville has had a New Year’s Eve show. CBS hasn’t had a show to ring in the new year since 1999. So, it’s kind of a big deal.

“When I found out that this big CBS special is happening in my adopted hometown in Nashville, I really wanted to be part of it,” Bentley said. “Because it’s a special moment for the city. It’s a special moment for country music.”

The Big Bash should be a big night of fun!
