A new Dolly Parton Christmas special is headed to Netflix. The streaming giant will release “Dolly Parton’s Christmas on The Square” on Nov. 22, Deadline reported.

It stars Parton, Christine Baranski, Jenifer Lewis, Treat Williams, and Jeanine Mason. The movie follows a rich woman named Regina (Baranski) who tries to sell her father’s land to a developer. However, she has a change of heart after meeting her guardian angel (Parton), which leads Regina to rekindle connections with her hometown.

The special will feature 14 original songs by Parton.

Dolly Parton releases first holiday album in 30 years

Dolly Parton released the title track for the special on Tuesday. The song, which features Rhonda and Darrin Vincent, will also be on her new holiday album “A Holly Dolly Christmas.”

The record, which is set to be released Oct. 2, is Parton’s first holiday-themed album in 30 years, Billboard reports.

“I thought, ‘I think I’ll call it ‘A Holly Dolly Christmas’ because I love the song “A Holly Jolly Christmas” with Burl Ives. He used to be on all of my Christmas specials all through the years,” Parton told Billboard. “I think of him as Mr. Christmas. I thought, ‘Why don’t do I call it something cute and clever, like that or ‘Deck the Halls with Boughs of Dolly,’ something corny like that.’”

The album features duets with Michael Bublé, Billy Ray Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Jimmy Fallon, and Willie Nelson.

“I figured since everybody probably wouldn’t get to celebrate Christmas as usual this year, I wanted to be creative instead of sitting around at the house this summer,” Parton said in a statement. “So I put on my mask, gloves, and practiced social distancing, as well as all of the wonderful musicians and singers, and we proceeded to put together what I think is some of the best work that I’ve ever done.”
