“I’m sure proud of it!” Loretta Lynn herself is floored by the debut of artists’ new career-spanning mural, now at her Tennessee ranch.

If you’ve yet to visit Loretta Lynn’s famous Hurricane Mills Ranch, this incredible artwork may finally bring you on down. Located here in Middle Tennessee an hour and a half west of Nashville, Loretta Lynn’s Ranch is touted as one of the best family tourist attractions in the state. And it just got a whole lot more Loretta.

In celebration of her 89th birthday – and her latest Billboard topping album, “Still Woman Enough,” Lynn’s ranch commissioned a glorious mural to the country icon. It took two artists working together for an entire week to complete the tribute – and the results speak for themselves.

“This has been one of the most memorable experiences I have had painting a wall; the amazing feedback from fans and Loretta’s family alike has been awesome,” Nashville artist Stephen Sloan tells local News 4.

Sloan worked with Austin, Texas artist Brittany Sloan to bring the mural to life. Within, the artists depict Loretta Lynn through four portraits that span her remarkable 60+ year career as one of country music’s all-time greats. The ending portrait of Lynn comes straight from “Still Woman Enough”. It is a beyond-fitting tribute to the icon’s latest landmark album.

“Painting Loretta Lynn was my favorite set of portraits to date… And it was a huge honor to paint such a legend and incredible woman and artist,” Johnson adds for News 4 Nashville

“My husband Doo poured his life into it and Anthony is doing such a great job for me with it. I have always loved to paint myself, something a lot of people may not know, but I couldn’t imagine painting a huge wall like that,” Lynn lauds.
