For those who interested in living like a country music legend, the estate of George Strait is on the market. The country singer is selling his custom-designed Texas mansion.

Local county and court records list Strait as the owner of the property. According to the Bexar County Appraisal District, Strait was documented as the owner of the estate until 2007. During that year, Strait transferred ownership to the Southbound Trust, which both Strait and his wife Norma are trustees of, according to San Antonio News-Express.

Tamara Strait with Strait Luxury/Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty is the realtor agent for the property. Tamara is also the daughter-in-law of George Strait, marrying his son George Jr.

The Property of George Strait Has 14 Hand Sculpted Fireplaces

The estate has over 7,900 square-feet, which sits on 12.2 acres. According to property records, the estate has a value of around $3.9 million. Additionally, it is located within The Dominion, a wealthy neighborhood in San Antonio. The property is enough to make any buyer feel like the King of Country.

Designed by Bill Tull, the house features a main house and casita or guest house. Among other things, the main house has three bedrooms, four full baths and two half baths. Meanwhile, the casita is completely independent with one bedroom with one bath, a living room, and also a kitchenette. The estate features 14 hand-sculpted fireplaces, a workout room, and sauna, and a gourmet kitchen.

Additionally, there is an Infinity Edge pool and patio on the property. The patio has a built-in grill, sink, ice maker, and refrigerator for late-afternoon barbecues.

Tull modeled the estate with an Adobe-style architecture. In 2018, the property was briefly on the market with an asking price of around $10 million. For unknown reasons, the listing was removed shortly after.
