Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn Las Vegas Residency Set to End This Year

by Katie Maloney

Las Vegas will say goodbye to Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn at the end of this year.

The performers have held a Las Vegas residency since June 2015. Reba McEntire even shared her excitement for the residency to resume recently. She shared a photo of herself with Brooks & Dunn and wrote, “I can’t wait to be back in Vegas with my buddies @BrooksAndDunn for our final shows at the @ColosseumatCP Dec 1-15! Tickets go on sale Friday at 10 AM PT. Don’t miss your last chance to see us #TogetherInVegas!”

Fans may not have caught the fact that she wrote “last chance to see us.” Or perhaps, many fans thought it meant the last shows of the 2021 year. Sadly, that’s not the case. Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn’s Together in Vegas show at Colosseum at Caesars Palace will wrap up with a series of shows between Dec. 1 to 15, 2021. Fans can purchase tickets for the final shows this Friday, August 6th.

What’s The Show All About?

Since their start in 2015, Reba McEntire, Robbie Dunn, and Kix Brooks have played 82 shows to more than 300,000 fans. The show started after a lifelong friendship between the three performers. They all went on tour together in 1993 and have been friends ever since. The 90-minute show consists of several songs by each performer as well as collaborations. They perform a total of over 30 songs during each show.

What Will Reba McEntire Do After The Vegas Shows?

Fans who can’t make it to Vegas may have to wait until next year to see Reba live. In April of this year, she announced that she’s postponing her tour which was originally scheduled for 2020, and then moved to 2021. Now, the tour will take place in 2022 beginning on January 13th.

“We’ve waited as long as we possibly could to make a decision, but unfortunately we’re not going to be able to play our 2021 Reba: Live In Concert dates,” Reba posted in April. “As much as I wish we could get back out on the road, it’s just not possible yet. However, don’t worry…we are going to reschedule the dates for 2022. We cannot wait to get back out on the road and bring you our brand new show!”

Obviously, the news is disappointing. But not all hope is lost for Reba McEntire fans just yet. Although you may not be able to see her live this year, you can still watch her in the new documentary “Dear Rodeo.” The film is about Cody Johnson‘s rise to fame from rodeo pro to country music sensation. Reba appears several times in the documentary to talk about her how experiences with rodeo. Reba even teamed up with Johnson for a song for the film, “Dear Rodeo.” In conclusion, you have a few things to tide you over until you can see Reba live in concert again next year.
