Country star Reba McEntire is an outsider, by the looks of a new Instagram picture the singer posted on Tuesday.

McEntire may have been in the Southwest, not Montana, when she posed for the shot. But the photo nonetheless conjures up some definite “Yellowstone” vibes. In the picture, McEntire stands with her back to the camera, staring off at the mountains in the distance – not unlike John Dutton (Kevin Costner) studying the horizon, brooding over the fate of his ranch.

“When you think that the mountain’s too high and the ocean’s too wide, you’ll never get through… someway, somehow… somehow you do,” McEntire captioned the photo.

Scene Is From Reba McEntire’s New Music Video

The scene that the photo captures likely took place during the shooting of McEntire’s new music video. McEntire released the video along with her new song, “Somehow You Do,” last week.

The song was written by Oscar-nominated songwriter Diane Warren, who also wrote two earlier McEntire songs, “What If” and “I’ll Be.”

“‘Somehow You Do’ is a song about hope, about how even through the times that are so hard and moments in your life that are so devastating, that somehow you will get through them and get to the other side,” Warren said in a statement. “It is a song about strength of the human spirit. And no voice can convey that as much as Reba McEntire. She makes you feel with every note that you might think you can’t get through it, but somehow you will, and somehow you do.”

The music video features shots of McEntire walking down a dusty two-lane road with snow-capped mountains in the distance, clad in a cowboy hat and the same outfit she’s wearing in the Instagram picture.

McEntire Postpones ‘Live In Concert’ Tour

The country star has certainly been busy. But one commitment she won’t have to juggle this summer is her “Reba: Live in Concert” tour. Earlier this month, McEntire announced that she was postponing the tour until 2022, KFDI reported.

McEntire had originally scheduled the tour for March 2020, but then had to move it to 2021 due to the pandemic. Now the 2021 dates have been either canceled (such as the St. Paul, Minnesota show) or postponed. The tour will now launch from Evansville, Indiana on January 13, 2022 and run through mid-March of 2022.

“We cannot wait to get back out on the road and bring you our brand new show,” McEntire said in a statement posted to social media. “If you’ve got your tickets, hang on to them — they’ll be good for the new dates. We’ve waited as long as we possibly could to make a decision, but unfortunately we’re not going to be able to play our 2021 ‘Reba: Live in Concert’ dates. As much as I wish we could get back out on the road, it’s just not possible yet.”

Reba fans are no doubt waiting eagerly for her tour to finally kick off. Looks like they’ll have to wait just a little while longer.
