Reba McEntire has a lot to be thankful for, but these four things stand out. On Thursday (Nov. 25), the “Fancy” singer released a video to social media with a Thanksgiving 2021 message to everyone.

“I just wanted to wish you and your family a very Happy Thanksgiving,” she began. “We have so much to be thankful for today and every day.”

This year, Reba McEntire is thankful for her family, most importantly. She is also thankful for her health, her friends, and for her fans. What more could you ask for?

In an interview with Closer Weekly, McEntire revealed that her favorite Thanksgiving memory is actually more of a sentiment.

“It’s a very special weekend,” she shared. “I hope [everyone] will think back and be thoughtful of what a great year this has been — remember people we’ve lost. Remember people who have done great things. And if there’s someone they need to say ‘I love you’ to or ‘I’m sorry’ to, now’s the time to do it!”

All About Reba McEntire’s New LifeTime Movie

Christmas in Tune is Reba McEntire’s latest project. She will be starring in the film alongside John Schneider as part of the network’s annual It’s A Wonderful Lifetime event. The movie follows a woman named Belle who is a marketing executive. Just as she’s about to lose her job, she attempts to save it by asking her divorced parents to reunite for a charitable Christmas concert. Her two parents were world-famous but retired and haven’t spoken in years. They finally agree to help their daughter.

Christmas In Tune is a really cute story about a man and a woman who were a duo singing partner and also married,” McEntire said in a press release. “The lady is more of the singer, but the man is more the writer, but they make a good duo. And so, things went a little south and they have a beautiful daughter, and things went south so they went their separate ways, and the daughter gets them back together for a military benefit at Christmas. And of course, neither one could turn her down.”

The New York-based couple Juliet and Keith Giglio wrote the movie. The pair have been married for 30 years and have been working in the movie business for over twenty years.

This isn’t the couple’s first rodeo with Lifetime either. They previously wrote the 2020 movie Dear Christmas, which stars Melissa Joan Hart and Jason Priestley.

Reba McEntire’s Christmas in Tune premieres Friday, Nov. 26, at 8 p.m. on the Lifetime network.
