Country music legend Reba McEntire is back at the Grand Ole Opry tonight and both she and her fans are as excited as can be. Reba took to her official Twitter account to post a hype video a couple of hours before she took the stage.
“Hey, we are really excited to be here at the grand ole opry on June 22, 2021,” McEntire states in the video. “It has been over a year since we have been in front of a live audience. And we couldn’t have picked a better place to start back up singin’ and performin’ in front of a live audience.”
The 66-year-old country singer also gave a shout-out to all of the “Tweebas” who made the long trip to come to see her perform.
“We’re really excited to be back in front of the crowd and I know that are some Tweebas out there who have driven over 12 hours to be at the Grand Ole Opry with us. Very grateful to have such loyal, dedicated, and wonderful fans. See y’all out there!”
McEntire captioned her latest post by writing, “Excited to be in the @opry house tonight and I know I’ve got some special #Tweebas out there in the audience!!!”

You better believe that Reba McEntire fans are just as excited as she is to be back at the Grand Ole Opry in front of a live audience. One happy couple even announced on social media that they were celebrating their engagement at the Opry with Reba.
“@AlexisBirdsell and I are celebrating our engagement tonight at the opry with you Miss Reba!! We came all the way from Michigan! Would love to get a shout out during the show! Would mean the world to us! ❤️❤️”
Similarly, another fan tweeted that they had drove 12 hours to see Reba.
“Ahhh I drove 12 hours and I couldn’t be happier,” they wrote.
Another follower wanted Reba to know that she has dedicated fans in every corner of the world.
“Still love you Reba. Only ever saw you once live, in Phoenix. Now I am back in Europe, probably not again. But you have fans everywhere.”
2021 Marks 35 Years as a Grand Ole Opry Member for Reba
2021 has been better for many of us than 2020 was. And it would seem like Reba McEntire fits that bill as well. In fact, she started off the year by celebrating 35 years of being a member of the Grand Ole Opry. She officially fulfilled her lifelong dream of becoming a member on January 17, 1986.
Meanwhile, Reba has said in the past that the Grand Ole Opry is still one of her favorite places to perform.
“The Grand Ole Opry is a home,” Reba said. “It’s a family It’s like a family reunion when you come back and get to see everybody.”
