Reba McEntire Returns To The Stage In Brand New Holiday Film
In the LifetimeTV Its A Wonderful Lifetime movie premiere, a young marketing executive named Belle (Candice King) faces some professional challenges.
In an effort to wow her bosses, Belle enlists the help of her now-divorced parents Georgia (McEntire) and Joe Winter (John Schneider) to help with a charity Christmas concert.
Belle knows her parents, have the potential to bring in an amazing draw to the Christmas charity concert as the two were once part of a world-famous band. However, the two have not spoken for years. Of course, in true holiday fashion, the duo decides to put aside their differences in order to help their daughter.
The brand-new Lifetime TV holiday film was written by Juliet and Keith Giglio. The married duo has been making movies together, writing, and producing for over twenty years. This upcoming film marks the eighth screenplay that the couple has created during their careers.
A Movie Full Of Holiday Magic
According to Juliet, this Christmas In Tune production is a particularly special one for the duo. This is because of the film’s special type of holiday magic.
“It’s a real romance for us,” Juliet Giglio tells syracuse.com of the upcoming holiday film. “It’s really about the wonderful things that can happen at Christmas.”
“Christmas In Tune is a really cute story about a man and a woman who were a duo singing partner and also married,” McEntire says about the Lifetime TV holiday film in a recent press release.
“The lady is more of the singer, but the man is more the writer,” the country singer continues. “But they make a good duo.”
The Christmas In Tune star adds that it is the couple’s love for their daughter that encourages the estranged partners to reunite for the holiday season.
“Things went a little south and they have a beautiful daughter,” McEntire explains.
“And things went south so they went their separate ways,” the singer adds.
“The daughter gets them back together for a military benefit at Christmas,” Reba says of the holiday special. “Of course, neither one could turn her down.”
