Country star Reba McEntire is sharing some before and after pictures from her morning routine.

In a Saturday Instagram post, McEntire wrote, “Ummmmm-hmmmm. @brettglam.” That’s makeup artist Brett Freedman of Brett Brow and Celestine Agency, a fashion and beauty agency based in New York and Los Angeles.

And McEntire posted two pictures: one captioned 6:00 a.m., showing herself in a white bathrobe and glasses with her hair up. The second, captioned 7:30 a.m., shows McEntire in an all-black ensemble with hoop earrings and her hair and makeup done.

A Different Reba

McEntire is fresh off her co-hosting duties at the 2020 Country Music Association (CMA) Awards. And she’s red carpet official with boyfriend and “CSI: Miami” star Rex Linn.

The couple actually met in 1991 on the set of a Kenny Rogers movie, Taste of Country reports. They had kept in touch with each other over the years.

Just before the pandemic hit, however, McEntire had the time to reconnect with old friends. She and Linn got dinner together early this year.

“So it was just like good friends getting back together having dinner in January, and then we started texting and talking on the telephone, getting to know each other better during the quarantine,” McEntire told “Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.”

She said recently that the relationship is making her feel like a “giddy teenager” again. And she told Good Morning America that it’s feeding her creative endeavors. She’s already recorded eight songs for a new project, she said.

“[This relationship] really inspires me to find love songs, to find happy songs,” McEntire said of how her time with Linn has changed her musical inclinations. “I’ve always been the queen of waltzes, the queen of sad songs, because I just gravitate to those kinds of songs.”

Now, she said, she’s singing a different tune.
