The country music star has been getting out there in the great outdoors pretty often over the course of this quarantine. His latest prize? A beautiful 8-point buck. Riley Green looks like he had a bountiful hunt in the backwoods of Louisiana earlier this week. As of late, he has been on a hunting tear all across the country.

“Awesome hunt with a great bunch of folks,” Riley Green said in the Tweet. He seems to be rocking a mustache, a new addition to his camouflage-clad outfit.

Riley Green Rocks the Camo

This has not been Riley Green’s first hunting outing of the early winter. Just last week, the country music star spent his Saturday in a duck blind. By the looks of his Twitter post, he had a pretty successful hunt. He also apparently spent some time duck hunting with country music star, Thomas Rhett last year.

These deep south hunting trips come fresh off of a stint in the midwest back in November and in Texas a week before that. In both instances, he posted pictures with his fallen prey. He clearly hasn’t been messing around in the camouflage this hunting season.

Green is an avid hunter, constantly hunting from the time he was young. “From the time I was a kid I always loved hunting and fishing,” Green told Southern Living. “There’s something about being out in the woods that just gets me. There are moments—like watching the sun come up in the middle of a swamp in Arkansas—I struggle to imagine how anybody wouldn’t enjoy that.”

If It Wasn’t For Trucks Out Everywhere

Back in September, Riley Green released his most recent EP, If It Wasn’t For Trucks, out everywhere. This, like his hunting, shows off his classic country roots. The EP tells stories from his upbringing in Jacksonville, Alabama, where he first fell in love with bluegrass, Southern Gospel, and you guessed it, hunting.
