Shania Twain could be the lucky charm for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The country music star was posting from Raymond James Stadium Sunday, throwing back to a key time when she was there.

That was February, 2003.

Twain captioned her photo:

“Happy #SuperBowl Sunday 🏈Congrats to the Chiefs & Buccaneers for making it here! The last time the Buccaneers were in the Super Bowl I performed the halftime show… Can’t believe that was 18 years ago 😱 Good luck to both teams – Let’s Go Guys! 😘 and since there will be more women in on-field roles during Super Bowl LV than ever before LET’S GO GIRLS!”

Tampa Bay beat Oakland, 48-21 in Super Bowl XXXVII. That game was played in San Diego and pitted the best defense in the NFL (Tampa) against the top offense (Oakland). Tonight, Tampa takes on Kansas City.

Shania Twain Gave Super Bowl Worthy Performance

And Shania Twain dazzled at halftime. She wore one of her trademark, high-fashion outfits. Twain was decked out in a long black leather coat, with a leather mini skirt and thigh high boots. It all was accented with silver sequins.

She opened halftime with “Man, I Feel Like a Woman“ followed by “”Up!” She danced and twirled across the stage, delighting the fans.

And Shania Twain was joined by fellow musical all-stars. Gwen Stefani and No Doubt sang hit “Just a Girl.” Then Sting performed “Message In a Bottle.” In pre-game, The Chicks sang the national anthem.

Since 2003, no other country star has been the Super Bowl headliner.

These days, Shania Twain is hosting her own show on Apple Radio. In her most recent episode, she talked about Britney Spears and how much the pop star influenced her.

Twain said: “Oh yeah! Britney Spears. I don’t sound like her, but I sing along to her records. Britney Spears is another residency artist in Las Vegas that I have seen a few times. She was initially in Zappos theater where I ended up myself and I loved the room. I thought her show was great. And I was motivated to get on that same stage, so her show inspired me a lot. It was a fantastic show.”
