Tammy Wynette Previously Stated She’d Never Get George Jones Out of Her Life
According to Country Rebel, Tammy Wynette spoke about George Jones after their marriage came to an end. She admitted she’d never get him out of her life. “He will always be part of my life. A very special part of my life.”
In one of the Tennessean archives, Wynette declared that Jones is one of those people who could not tolerate happiness. “If everything is right, there is something in him that makes him destroy it. And destroy me with it.”
It was then revealed that when the couple was granted the divorce, Jones stated he let Wynette have everything. He didn’t fight her on anything. He also told People that he felt “ached” following the divorce.
