Sturgill Simpson is letting fans know that he can’t wait to perform for them again.

It’s been a year without music in some ways. No ticket stubs, carpooling to shows with friends, or live stage performances. Nevertheless, Sturgill Simpson remains grateful for the music he can create. Simpson also remains hopeful for the days when he is back with fans.

“I still can’t believe I actually get to sing and play music with these people.” Sturgill Simpson writes on an Instagram post alongside a photo of him and the Hillbilly Avengers band. “…And I’m very much looking forward to the day we can stand on stages and play for all you people again,” he writes.

Fans Can’t Wait To See Sturgill Simpson Perform

With over 12,000 likes on the post, it’s clear that fans share the same sentiments. On a post announcing his new album release, fans expressed their excitement with comments like, “This man is really about to give us two fire albums in one year.” One fan even said, “Thank you for being the one bright spot of 2020.”

Simpson Offers Fans Lots Of Music In The Meantime

Sturgill Simpson won Best Country Album four years ago for A Sailor’s Guide to Earth. This year, he is nominated for Best Rock Album for Sound & Fury. This makes Simpson the first artist to be nominated in both the rock and country music categories. And it doesn’t seem like Simpson intends on slowing down any time soon with plans to release his latest album, Cuttin’ Grass Vol. 2, in April 2021. Fans can access some of Sturgill Simpson’s music now via his website where each of his albums is listed.
