While very few people would mistake Jonah Hill and Blake Shelton in real life, their bobbleheads tell a different story. In a recent episode of “The Voice,” Shelton explained that he would give out bobbleheads as gifts to contestants. Little do they know, those bobbleheads aren’t actually of their coach, but of another famous actor. What they don’t know won’t hurt them, right?

“Let the people be the judge,” Blake Shelton said in his Twitter post featuring a video of him with the bobblehead figure. “Me or Jonah Hill?”

Kelly [Clarkson] started this, actually, giving gifts” Blake Shelton explained in the brief clip. “So I’m giving people a bobblehead– a bobblehead of Jonah Hill– that I’m telling them is me.”

A sneaky move by the country music star, but in all honesty, the two celebrities do look very similar in bobblehead form. Between the stubble on their face, the same kind of hairstyle, and even clothing, the similarity between the two is uncanny. At least for a bobblehead figurine. In-person, however, anyone could distinguish the two… at least one would hope.

Could Pete Mroz Distinguish a Blake Shelton Bobblehead?

If anyone could tell the difference between a Jonah Hill bobblehead and a Blake Shelton bobblehead, it would have to be Shelton’s old bandmate and new teammate on The Voice, Pete Mroz. On the new season of the NBC show, Pete Mroz auditioned and Shelton immediately scooped him up for his team. Why? Let’s just say the two have a bit of history together.

Almost 25 years ago, Blake Shelton and Pete Mroz played in a band together in Nashville. The band, which they called The Young Riders, consisted of both Shelton and Mroz along with a few other musicians. However, Blake Shelton eventually peeled off with the bassist to go at it on his own.

25 years later, one of them is the highest-earning country music artist and one of them is a golf equipment salesman with a dream. I’ll let you guess which one is which… and here’s a hint: one of them looks kind of like a Jonah Hill bobblehead.
