Two beloved country music artists will take the stage as part of a special weekend of music in just a few days. Those stars are the King of Country, George Strait, and the Chief himself, Eric Church.

Strait and Church will be performing as part of ATLive on Friday, Nov. 5, in Atlanta. The concert will be held at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, which is the home of the Atlanta Falcons.

Fans of both singers have known about the concert for several months now – tickets went on sale during July. But a new photo shared by George Strait is getting fans even more amped up for their upcoming concert.

On Wednesday, Nov. 3, Strait shared a photo of him on stage with Eric Church on his Twitter page. Both superstars are holding their guitars and smiling at one another. It’s clear that they enjoyed that previous on-stage performance.

The photo represents just a brief glimpse of what those who plan to attend their upcoming Atlanta concert have in store for them. After all, what could be better than getting to be in the presence of such country music icons?

Unsurprisingly, fans of George Strait and Eric Church are very excited about the upcoming ATLive performance at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Some of them shared their excitement in the comments they posted in response to Strait’s tweet.

George Strait and Eric Church Aren’t the Only Stars Performing at ATLive This Weekend

George Strait and Eric Church will be taking the stage at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Friday, Nov. 5. But they aren’t the only famous artists who will be performing for excited fans this weekend.

According to the stadium’s website, another impressive lineup will take the stage on Saturday, Nov. 6. Metallica will headline the festivities on that day. That popular band will be joined by Cage the Elephant and Greta Van Fleet.

George Strait and Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich prompted the ATLive event in a video posted to the website.

“Hello, Atlanta. It’s been a while. I don’t know about you, but I’m ready,” Strait opens the video. “They better open the roof, or we’re going to blast it open,” Ulrich also says in the promo. You can check out the promo video for ATLive below.
