Thomas Rhett Announces He and Wife Lauren Are Expecting 4th Child in Heartfelt Post

Thomas Rhett’s family is about to get a whole lot bigger. The country music singer announced he’s expecting another child.

If three daughters weren’t already too much to handle, Thomas Rhett and his wife Lauren will be adding a fourth girl to the mix. Pretty soon Rhett will be starring in a real-life, country music version of Tim Allen’s “Last Man Standing.”

On Instagram, Thomas Rhett shared the happy news. He wrote, “Well… we are pregnant again! Tonight when I was on stage in Fort Worth about to play ‘to the guys that date my girls’ my wife talked to me in my (ear monitors) and said ‘you can tell them if you want’ so anyways, now you know.”

TR already dreads all the weddings he’ll have to pay for one day. He jokingly urged his followers to help out with the future celebrations by buying some of his merchandise. The singer shared a photo with his very pregnant wife.

“We are pumped to be having our 4th girl. Feel free to buy all the merch you want, knowing that all the proceeds are going straight to all these weddings I’ll be paying for one day! Love you so much @laur_akins we always wanted a big thanksgiving table,” Thomas Rhett continued.

Thomas Rhett Has His Hands Full

No word on what Thomas Rhett and Lauren plan to name their daughter. In 2016, they adopted their oldest Willa after a trip to Uganda. One year later, they brought Willa home for good. TR also shocked country music fans by announcing Lauren was pregnant.

Ada James was born a few months later. In Feb. 2020, the couple welcomed their third daughter Lennon Love. And now the family is growing once again by one. Thomas Rhett is already dreading the day that his daughters will bring home boyfriends. In fact, he even wrote a song about it “To the Guys that Date My Girls.”

“I think I would like to say that I would be like the tough dad, but I’m probably gonna be a softie like ‘Come in, come in, have some coffee, tell me about your life,’” Thomas Rhett said. The country singer felt inspired by parenthood and watching his daughters get older. “You talk to so many parents, and it just comes just like that. So it’s kind of a rough draft letter to those people that come to my house.”
