Country music star Thomas Rhett is a busy man shooting up the ranks of some of the genres finest acts.

The son of legendary singer Rhett Akins has put out four studio items since hitting the scene in 2010. At 30-years-old he is already a big name in the songwriting and music industries. His four albums have each reached high levels of success and the singer has a wide-ranging and diverse fanbase. His last two albums earned him nominations for Grammy Awards in the best country album category.

In addition to his musical success, Rhett has found a great deal of notoriety in the songwriting department. He has written hit songs for the likes of country music superstars Jason Aldean, Lee Brice and Florida Georgia Line.

While he has his hands full with his blossoming career, he is also a devoted family dedicated to providing for them. Rhett is the “man of the house” with his wife Lauren Akins and three daughters: Lennon Love, Willa Gray and Ada James.

Thomas Rhett says Wife Lauren Akins Wants More Kids

Though he already has a full house, the country singer recently revealed that the family could grow larger in the future. In a recent radio interview, Rhett says his wife is definitely a fan of larger families.

“I doubt my wife would stop until we get to at least 5 or 6 more, so we will see,” he says. “I think so, I really do and I don’t really have a say. So, if Lauren wants six kids, we are probably going to have six kids.”

With three girls already in the picture, Rhett admits he would like be a father to a son at some point.

“Me and Lauren are getting to the point that our house is so chaotic anyway that as we continue to have kids,” he says. “I definitely want to have a boy.”
