Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins are one of country music’s cutest couples, and recently, the “Country Again” singer shared the sweetest photos of his wife. After returning from their latest fishing vacation out west, Rhett posted photos of his (adorably pregnant) partner fishing on the water. Two of the photos boast photos of Akins’ round belly as well as her and her pole. The one that was bittersweet for the country singer to share, however, was the photo of his wife making “kissy-lips” at what he deemed “the biggest rainbow [trout he’d] ever seen in real life.”

Followers to the artist’s Twitter page applauded Akins and her catches, as well as her ability to do it all pregnant. A peek at Akins’ Instagram page shows some similar photos, expressing her pride in both the catches she made during the vacation as well as pride in her “boys.” Not only did Akins make one pretty awesome catch, but she also almost had what she deemed, “a complete soaking wet disaster.” Her latest Instagram post shared a photo of her and her little brother smiling and standing side by side. Swipe to the left and we see Akins’ little brother Grayson pulling Akins back up after slipping in the river.
Followers to the couples’ social media pages are familiar with the many fishing and vacation trips out west the family takes. Posts from this most recent and exciting trip, unfortunately, didn’t feature the couple’s three girls, but they frequently join in on the fun as well.
Thomas Rhett Is Soon to Be a Dad of Four
As of May 9th, Outsider shared the news about Rhett and Akins’ latest little addition. We outsiders couldn’t be more excited for the country couple. The pair expects to welcome their fourth daughter this November 2021. Rhett originally shared the news on stage in Fort Worth a few months ago. That was only after getting the okay from his wife prior to performing, “To The Guys That Date My Girls.”
After making the announcement, he encouraged fans to buy lots of merchandise post-concert. He jokingly followed up, explaining that he dreads having to pay for “all these weddings” later down the line. No doubt Rhett and Akins will have their hands full with four little girls. All three currently participate in a princess dance camp, cheerleading, and more which Rhett revealed in an earlier post. The girls were later treated to a “date night with dad.” Rhett shared that poor Willa Gray wound up falling asleep at the table prior to the arrival of cookies.
As Akins approaches her due date, we can’t help but adore the family photos she shares. Additionally, she always shares the matching outfits she consistently puts her daughters in. A brief glance at her Instagram page shows a proud and passionate mom-of-three-soon-to-be-four. Currently, the couple hasn’t shared any hints as to what the newest little one’s name may be. For now, we’ll impatiently wait to find out.
