WATCH: Tim McGraw Compares New Duet ‘Undivided’ to His Hit ‘Humble & Kind’

Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard sit down with the Bobby Bones Show to talk about their new song, “Undivided,” where McGraw compares it to his 2016 hit “Humble & Kind.”

When it comes to feel-good, inspirational songs, Tim McGraw never falls short. Between the 53-year-olds hits, “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Humble & Kind,” and now “Undivided,” it paints a picture for how to carry yourself in life.

Tim McGraw Reminds Everyone to Stay ‘Humble & Kind”

On the Bobby Bones Show yesterday, radio host Amy asks McGraw that if he could have one of his lyrics has a bumper sticker, which would he choose?

“I mean, I’d have to say humble and kind right now. I mean, that always is something to me that always I’ll go back to, and this song certainly, “Undivided,” is in that vein for me, I mean, it really puts me in mind to that song.

Tim McGraw emphasizes that neither song is about politics. However, the songs are about how to treat one another with kindness. A much-needed reminder in this day and age.

“When I first heard it, it put me in mind at that song because it may need to have the same thoughts about, you know, here’s something that it’s not political, it’s not, it’s about society and how we should treat each other, and I think that’s what I would have to say right now. Humble and kind, I think we could use a lot more humility and kindness in the world.”

A lovely message for everyone.

In the lyrics for “Undivided,” Tim McGraw and Tyler Hubbard preach the same loving, unifying, faith-based outlook as “Humble & Kind.” The chorus for the song goes as such.

I think it’s time to come together. You and I can make a change. Maybe we can make a difference. Make the world a better place. Look around and love somebody. We’ve been hateful long enough. Let the good Lord reunite us. Until this country that we love is undivided.
