Tim McGraw admits he is “excited” to be working on the soundtrack of the upcoming Liam Neeson movie, The Ice Road.

Umm, we are just as excited. This is like the combination that we never knew we needed. Action? Check! Country music? Check! What more can someone ask for?

The new movie, which will hit Netflix on June 25, 2021, will feature Liam Neeson, Holt McCallany, and Amber Midthunder.

Let me tell you what is on my agenda for this lovely June day…

As for the soundtrack? Country legend Tim McGraw will be featured on the score.

Tim McGraw admits he is “excited” to be working on the soundtrack of the upcoming Liam Neeson movie. According to IMDb, The Ice Road is sure to be an exciting one.

“After a remote diamond mine collapses in the far northern regions of Canada, an ice driver leads an impossible rescue mission over a frozen ocean to save the lives of trapped miners despite thawing waters and a threat they never see coming.”

I mean, just watch the trailer, and you will understand what we mean. I can feel my pulse quickening by the darn second! Does the ice crack? Do they save the miners? Does everyone survive? I’m stressed.

On social media, Tim McGraw posted the movie poster along with his “excitement” in today’s upload.

“Excited to be a part of the soundtrack for THE ICE ROAD!! Coming to @Netflix June 25 #TheIceRoad”

Many fans flooded in to congratulate Tim McGraw on the role. However, we must, unfortunately, inform you, we will not see Tim’s gorgeous face in the film, but we will hear his angelic, buttery voice. So, it’s still considered a win in our book.

Tim McGraw Country Strong

On May 14, Tim McGraw uploaded another to social media posts about a throwback movie he was featured in. IMDb ranks Country Strong, which also has Gwyneth Paltrow, Garrett Hedlund, and Leighton Meester, a 6.3 out of 10.

#Flashback to shooting “Country Strong.” Deep conversation with director Shana Feste.”

The summary notes that this Tim McGraw film follows “A rising country-music songwriter, who works with a fallen star to work their way to fame, causing romantic complications along the way.”

This seems like much of Tim McGraw’s speed. More for a Rom/Com drama about country music and maybe less of a racing action/ adventure movie. What can we say? The man is versatile!
